This figure is based in one of the background images in Don Troiani’s “Fight for the Colors”.
This is one of my favorite Troiani images and I’ve had it in my office over the last 20 years. For some reason one fo the background figures on the print, has always been intrigueing to me. Maybe his startled look, maybe his young face, who knows, but I always wanted to do a bash inspired in that image. I had a HS repainted for it, maybe three years ago and simply had not gotten around to it. Of course I repainted the HS as I was about to begin the prokect!
Everything is from Battle Gear Toys, except slouch hat( Rich and Rhonda in Canada), trousers, waist belt and belt plate (SST) and shoes that are from DID Bruce.
First time I use the BGT Enfield and it is a beauty. Also first time I use the BGT “bullseye” canteen…nice variation for the troops.
