By any mesure Operation Dynamo was a huge success as a naval evacuation. Royal naval sources say 308,888 troops were transported by British ships; French histories report 48,474 were carried by Frenc ships, 26,314 of these directly to French ports.
While succesful, Dynamo was a costly operation, especially for the naval forces,: By the time it ended at 14.23 hrs on 4 June the Allies had lost 240 vessels with another 45 badly damaged. For the RAF Dynamo was also an expensive learning experience.
But regardless of the cost to the Royal Navy and RAF Operation Dynamo was a success - and a crucial element in the eventual Allied defeat of Nazi Germany - even if it did not constitute a victory over the Wehrmacht. As Churchill so rightly stated, 'We must be careful not to assign to this deliverance the attributtes of victory. Wars are not won by evacuations'.

Some years ago I saw two kingandcountry figures in his Fields of Battle Collection that fall in love. You can view it here:
Figure 1 Figure 2 but, how can I try it to reproduce it with 1/6 items. Nobody release Royal Navy figures, and only few items can be used.
From others customs works I view give some ideas, and tgis contest launch me to finish this figures.
Finally I found a great use for Soldat 2 HS.
Some Kriegsmarine uniforms are modified (badges erased and buttons eliminated) to simulate RN unis. Chevrons added
Peter Schmidt boots, one of my daughter's glove without fingers now :icon_lol: to achieve that socks.
Loudhailer 100% custom and normal british items for the rest.
Dingo from MC to add some ambientation.
I wish, that this New Year that tomorrow start, big D give us some commercial RN items to leave Kriegsmarine to german figures.
