British Para-June 5, 1944 w/base

Hello all...
just finished another foam base representing the edge of a British airfield to display a D-day British para...
This time I cut the foam to fit a type of wall sconce that I'm using...etched 'cracks' in the tarmac, and used milliput to represent the tar expansion joint...real grass glued with watered down 'white' glue, and painted with acrylic paints.
The Para is a mix of available DML kit with a DiD sculpt...the Denison and trousers are from the 'Ian' figure (the smock has been dyed to a more representative darker hue), and the rest of the kit from DML's Soldat 3 'Harry Collins'...
Technically, it's impossible to 'kit out' a fully equipped para ready-to-jump with commercially available parts as there are no British style life 'Vests' available...perhaps i'll try my hand at manufacturing one...until then he seems kind of 'naked'

La jump smock n'est-elle pas un peu trop large, trop grande ?

J'ai l'impression qu'il nage un peu dans cet effet ce para non ?
