“Billy Yank and Johnny Reb”
These are two pairs of “North and South” figures I made representing generic infantrymen of the American Civil War.
The two Union figures are almost identical.
Pair #1 will be donated to the Agrupacion 1/6 forum and will be used for prizes in an upcoming contest and the other pair is a gift for a very good friend, Juanjo, who you know as Kowalski in the 1/6 forums.
Tunics, brogans, kepis, cartridge pouches and bayonet frogs are from BGT ,
Trousers, shirts, bayonets +scababrds, Enfields, Springlfields, cap pouches, waist belt+buckles, tin cups, waterbottles and Union haversack from SST
Confederate haversack from DID
Confederate slouch hat from Rich and Rhonda.
Everything weathered with Tamiya acrylics as usual.
The Union figures HS (SST Virginia Bugler)were completely repainted with enamels and acrylics, some washes etc. The stock flesh tone was just to different to the other two HS. The Confederate HS also got an enamel touch up and some washes.
You will note that the two Confederate soldiers HS are from SST Sherman and SST Grant!
