Figure represents a US Artillery Regiment musician during the units deployment in the defenses around Washington DC.
The OTS is for “over the shoulder” designation of instrument. A very typical style of brass instrument of the period.





















Base is one of my generic pieces in this case incorporating a piece of fence from a DML/CH set.
The figure has am Ignote shako. I replaced the visor, top and bottom pieces and strap with Rio Rondo leather. Repainted the “metal” pieces and added BGT Union buttons.
The tunic and trousers from BGT. The shirt is a collarless German DML shirt. Shoes from ignite ACW figures, a nice alternative for ceremonial or dress types. The belt is from DID Dick figure. The horn is made from various pieces from Firebird. These instruments I believe are intended as Christmas ornaments.
The HS is from DML with added sideburns with Aves epoxy. Hands are from DID with DML wrist posts.
