“Arabelle : answered prayer”, June 1815
This is my recent entry in this forums Challenge 2010 “Female through the Ages” contest. Again thanks for your support and votes. Here are some more images.
I want to dedicate this work to the memory of Pat Bird of the long gone “Series 77”. He produced many 77mm and 90mm miniatures in the 1970’s that inspired this and many other of my 1/6 works.
I used this unusual name, Arabelle as it means “answered prayers”. The time and place is south of the Waterloo sometime after the battle in June 18, 1815
