My figure represents a veteran of the US Army’s Second Regiment Regulars, during the campaign that will end with the occupation of Mexico City and the end of the Mexican American War.
Uniform and equipment from BGT. Body reduced from DML with a DID HS. Boots from Sideshow. This veteran has picked up several non-regulation items along the way. A flintlock pistol relic, an axe from a Mexican Sapper and a field knife. He is part of a select group of volunteers from his regiment that will take part in the storming of the Castle at Chapultepec, so all these irregular items will come in handy.

More personnally, a way for me to remember the story/legend of the 'ninos heroes the Chapultepec' I heard when I spent a month in Mexico some years ago.
